"Ex Libris" offers visitors a glimpse of the personal library of Jose Garcia Villa, National Artist for Literature. On display are special editions of Villa's books, a sampling of his Filipiniana collection, holographs, including a poem from e. e. cummings, never-before-published photographs of Villa, and his drawings.
American Historical Collection features personal collections of Americans who have individually made their mark in the Philippine-American history. The exhibit will run from June 2012 to May 2013.

Seventy years ago, Santo Tomas University was opened as an internment camp for the protective custody of enemy aliens. In January 4, 1942, 300 residents from the Malate district interned to form first contingent to be brought, and on January 27, the population was 3,348.

The exhibit showcase 19 books and scores of articles written by the late Mr. Lewis E. Gleeck, Jr. on the American experience in the Philippines.
Mr. Gleeck was a member of the Foreign Service of the United States, serving several times in Washington and in Canada, Finland, Sweden, Austria, Iceland, Norway and Pakistan before arriving in the Philippines, where he retired after six years (1962-1969) as Consul General of the American Embassy in Manila.
