Nick Joaquin is considered by many critics as the most important Filipino writer in English. A master of all the genres--poetry, fiction, drama, and the essay--Joaquin was declared National Artist in 1976.

This year is the tenth anniversary of his death. The exhibition displays memorabilia, books, papers, and art from the collection of the Rizal Library, Joaquin's family and friends, and partner institutions.
