Established by Presidential Proclamation No. 837 in 1991, LIS Month aims to raise awareness of and public interest in the importance of and valuable services provided by libraries and other information centers.
In cooperation with the Rizal Library Ambassadors, Tanghalang Ateneo, Summit Books, and Breakout Philippines, the Rizal Library will be hosting various events, including a play, a book sale, and even a breakout (wink wink hehe).
